While at the vet’s today (for Pocket’s suture removal), a lady called in with five rat babies looking for a home.
I’d love to see to go to a forever home. They and likely their mom aren’t fit for returning to the wild, and I don’t think a shelter would know what to do with half-wild rats.
This is in the Los Angeles / South Bay area. DM me! 🙂
Signal boosts appreciated.
Fun fact about wild rats, according to my vet: They are healthier than domesticated rats! Wildies generally don’t have cancer/tumor time bombs hidden in their DNA and they have longer lifespans.
